In this theoretical report, we examine small deformations of an initially spherical drop undergoing two-directional linear shear flow, under creeping flow conditions. 

This problem is governed by three dimensionless parameters:

Ca≪1 – The capillary number represents the ratio of the external viscous force, to the surface tension force.

"λ=" O(1) – The viscosity ratio. 

"G=" O(1) – The linear velocity ratio.
